The Farmhouse at Saksild Strand is approx. 268 years old. It was moved from Saxild town approx. 105 years ago by a man who got the land donated by a farmer, moving the house brick by brick.

Given that Saxild Strand became more and more sought after, The Farmhouse started to serve coffee and cake for Sunday excursions – later it became a real restaurant.

Since then The Farmhouse has been extended many times with the first floor, garden room and a waffle house. The restaurant has several outdoor terraces and a lovely garden where you can enjoy your dinner in peace.

Today The Farmhouse hosts many events with music and is famous and infamous coast-wide for its excellent ice-cream cone.
