Norsminde Kro

Norsminde Kro offers two dining options: the gourmet restaurant Prés and the brasserie. It boasts a direct view of the Norsminde Fjord and features both indoor and outdoor seating.

Bondehuset

The Bondehuset restaurant is just 50 meters from the campsite. They serve traditional Danish dishes both indoors and outdoors. If the farmhouse is full or you're in a hurry, the Vaffelhuset right next door is a good option for a portion of fries or an ice cream.

Fru Møllers Mølleri

A visit to Fru Møller is a truly wonderful experience. Come along and get up close to the farm animals, take a break and relax. Try the specialties from the farm shop and restaurant – true delicacies straight from the farm await you.

Køst

This gastropub and harbor café is located directly on the harbor quay in Hou, in the first row to the yacht masts. At KØST you can enjoy delicious, carefully prepared dishes with a focus on fish in a cozy, maritime atmosphere, and you can buy specialties and fresh fish in the delicatessen.

Havblik

Saksild beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in East Jutland. Just 200 meters from the campsite, you'll find a crystal-clear, clean, white sandy beach. During the high season, a lifeguard from the Trygfonden (Water Board) is also on duty at Saksild beach.

Samsø

Samsø beckons with a unique blend of enchanting nature, authentic charm, and excellent cuisine. You can reach the island by ferry from Hou. You can either bring your car or rent a bicycle from us. The island is large enough to cycle around in a single day.

Tunø

The Old Minigolf

Fun and entertainment are the main focus at this traditional mini-golf course, located 800 meters from the campsite. Here, children and adults alike can enjoy themselves and combine the game with a snack or an ice cream.

Hiking in Hou

Lace up your hiking boots and embark on this 10-kilometer panoramic hike near the harbor town of Hou. This beautiful tour takes you along the coast from Odder to Hølken beach and back through Hou.

Eventyrskoven

Visit the witch's house and peek inside her cupboard, where you'll find toad saliva and sneezing powder, among other things. Venture onto the troll bridge – if you dare. Or hide in the bog woman's willow hut. The fairy forest harbors supernatural creatures and is waiting to be discovered by you.

Letbanen

The tram runs from Odder to Aarhus. So if you don't want to drive in a larger city, park your car in Odder and take the tram to Aarhus.
